The South Fork girls are building some momentum on the basketball court ahead of league play.
On Saturday afternoon, the Cubs rallied from a 20-point halftime deficit to beat Anderson Valley 47-38 in the third-place game at the 44th annual Potter Valley tournament.
A 29-point third quarter keyed the second-half comeback.
Caidence Young scored nine points in Saturday’s win to cap an impressive tournament for the senior, who was named to the all-tournament team.
Fellow senior Cloe McConnell scored a team-high 10 points in the win, as the Cubs enjoyed a balanced offense with several players contributing.
Aubrey Young added eight points, while Arianna Trigonis finished with seven points and Makenzie Brewer and Raven Reveles each chipped in six points.
The Cubs closed out tournament play 3-2 and are now 5-4 on the season.

Caidence Young was named to the all-tournament team.
