With 10 wins in their last 11 games, the Humboldt Crabs will welcome a pair of Bay Area teams to the Arcata Ball Park this week.

First up, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights the Crabs will play the Alameda Anchors, with first pitch set for 7 p.m. on both nights.

On Friday night, they will open a three-game weekend series against the Bay Area Admirals.

And the Crabs will carry some momentum into the five games after an impressive start to July.

After dropping their series opener against the Bercovich Honors on Friday night, the local club responded with two straight wins over the same team on Saturday and Sunday, including a tight 2-0 win in the rubber game.

Four pitchers combined to allow just eight hits combined in the series decider, with Nolan Long getting the win.

The Crabs starter threw 7.2 scoreless innings and allowed just two hits and three walks while striking out six.

Benjy Tucker got the save in relief.

The Crabs scored once in the fourth and once in the eight, with their four base hits coming from Peyton Miller, Billy Ham, Luke Reece and Kawana Soares.

Cameron Saso got the win on the mound on Saturday, as the Crabs took control of a tight game with four runs in the bottom of the fifth on the way to a 5-1 victory.

Saso threw five innings, allowing three hits and two walks and striking out seven.

Braden Frank went 2-for-4 to lead a seven-hit team performance, with Ham adding a double.

Jackson Giacone finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run.

The Crabs are now 21-6 on the season.
