The Humboldt Crabs kicked off the final week of the season with a dominating win on Tuesday night.
The Crabs welcomed the Chico Lone Wolves to the Arcata Ball Park and blew open a close game with five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on the way to a 10-3 victory.
With the win, they improved to 36-13.
Local fans have just four more opportunities to see the Crabs in action this summer, including a second game against the Lone Wolves on Wednesday night, with first pitch set for 7.
The Crabs will then close out the summer season with a three-game series against the Placer County Peloteros this weekend.
The Crabs Grass Band will be in attendance for three of the final four games, including Wednesday, Friday and Sunday afternoon.
In Tuesdays win, the Crabs out-hit the visitors 10-4, with Chico also committing four errors.
Manoa Chapman was one of four Crabs players to finish with multiple hits in the win, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, an RBI and three runs scored.
Adam, Enyart also had a good night at the ball park as he closes out another impressive summer with the team.
Enyart finished 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run.
Alex Harrington (2-for-4 with a walk, two RBIs and two runs) and Jason Arriola (2-for-2 with a walk and two RBIs) each also had a pair of hits in the win, as the top of the order delivered for the home team with nine hits from the one through four batters.
Nathan Bunyard made that offensive production count.
Bunyard got the start on the hill and pitched six strong innings for the win, giving up just three earned runs on three hits and three walks and striking out seven.
Former Eureka Logger Cooper Ohlsen pitched two scoreless innings in relief, allowing just one hit and no walks.
