Before the season began, Crabs manager Robin Guiver talked about how he thought this year’s team could have some power at the plate, and so far the players have backed that belief.

On Sunday, just nine days into the new season, Adam Enyart hit his fourth home run of the season to lead the Crabs to a weekend sweep of the Fresno A’s.

After an exciting 5-4 walk-off win in 10 innings on Saturday, in which Enyart also played a key role, the Crabs won 6-2 on Sunday to go to 7-0 on the season.

Enyart, who finished 1-for-3 in Sunday’s win, is hitting .450 in six games with the team and has a team-high 11 RBIs.

He wasn’t the only Crabs player to impress in Sunday’s win.

Keenan Morris finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored, as the Crabs took control of the game with three runs in the bottom of the fourth and led 6-0 after six.

David Zazueta got the win on the mound, pitching five scoreless innings and allowing just two hits and four walks and striking out five.

Saturday’s game was a fun one for the Crabs, with Enyart again playing a big role in a thrilling win.

Enyart hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to score teammate Sutter Moss.

He also pitched three scoreless innings in relief to get the win on the mound, walking three and striking out six.

He finished 2-for-5 at the plate with three RBIs.

The two teams combined for just eight hits.

Next up, the Crabs will play a two-game midweek series against the Stockton Pearls, with game one set for Tuesday night at 7.
