The summer baseball season is just around the corner.

And with that in mind, the Humboldt Eagles will be holding tryouts for two teams later this month.

The local American Legion club will begin competition in June and are looking for players aged 13-19 for 19U and 17U squads.

The tryouts will be held at Belotti Field across from the Redwood Acres on May 28 and 29.

Signups begin at 5 p.m. on both days, with the tryouts beginning at 5:30.

Players who are still playing high school baseball cannot participate in the tryouts but are required to register.
