By Ray Hamill — Another memorable Humboldt Crabs season is winding down with just two weeks and 10 games remaining on the schedule.

And that includes two midweek series and two weekend series.

The red-hot Crabs improved to 31-6 on the season with another three-game sweep over the weekend, while stretching their winning streak to 12 straight games.

The local collegiate college club welcomed the Menlo Park Legends to the Arcata Ball Park and comfortably took the opening two games by scores of 13-3 and 10-1, before winning a close game three by a score of 3-2.

This week, the Crabs welcome the Medford Rogues to Arcata for games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The two teams met earlier this season at Harry & David Field in Medford, with the Crabs taking both games, 15-4 and 7-5.

First pitch in both of this week’s games is set for 7 p.m.

The Fresno A’s, meanwhile, will travel to Arcata for a three-game series this weekend.

The Crabs close out the season next week with games against Seals Baseball and the Sacramento Yankees.
