Wyatt Reginatto led a 19-hit team performance as the Humboldt Crabs took the rubber game of a series against the Blues in San Luis Obispo on Sunday.

The Crabs won 13-4 and closed out an exciting five-game road trip that had included three one-run games.

Reginatto finished 4-for-6 at the plate with two runs and two RBIs.

Colby Lunsford also had a home run in the win and Billy Ham added a double, but 17 of the team’s hits were singles.

With the win, the Crabs improved to 12-5, although they closed out their final road trip of the summer 2-3.

Nolan Long pitched five innings for the win on the mound, allowing one earned run on seven hits and two walks and striking out four.

Clayton Ray and Drew Woody both pitched in relief.

The Crabs set the tone early after opening up a two-run lead in the top of the first and they never trailed.

They added five runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh to essentially end the game as a contest.

Lunsford, Ham, Chubby Cortez, Griffin Myers, Luke Reece, Andrew Crane and Peyton Miller each also had two hits in the win.

The Crabs return home to play a two-game midweek series against Seals Baseball at the Arcata Ball Park on Tuesday and Wednesday, with first pitch set for 7 p.m. on both nights.
