Humboldt Crabs postpone Saturday night game

Ray Hamill/HumboldtSports.com – Caleb Ruiz is high-fived as he leaves the field during Friday’s game.

By Ray Hamill — The Humboldt Crabs have postponed a scheduled Saturday night game against the Alameda Cardinals, the club announced early Saturday afternoon.

The decision was made because of the rain expected on Saturday night.

The Crabs and Cardinals will now play a doubleheader on Sunday instead, with game one set for 12:30 p.m.

Both of Sunday’s games will be seven innings.

The club also announced that tickets purchased for Saturday’s game will be honored for admission to any future 2022 Crabs game.

The Crabs opened the season with a 13-0 victory over the Humboldt Eagles on Friday night.
