The Humboldt Crabs opened a three-game stand in San Luis Obispo with an 8-3 win over the Blues on Friday night.

Former Eureka Logger Ethan Fischel continued his big week at the plate with two more hits in the win.

Fischel, who had a home run and a double in a 7-2 win over the Redding Tigers on Wednesday, finished 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs, and also scored a run.

Ethan Smith added a home run, while Aaron Casillas had three hits, including a double.

Kaden Riccomini pitched seven strong innings for the win, allowing five hits and no walks, while striking out 11.

The two clubs play again on Saturday at 4 p.m.
