Kokko Figueiredo hit his first Division-I home run on Friday, as North Carolina Central beat North Carolina A&T 4-1.

The former Fortuna and College of the Redwoods standout is enjoying a strong debut season with the Eagles and finished 3-for-4 in the win.

For the season, Figueiredo is batting .286 for the 11-10 Eagles.

Figueiredo also has played two summers with the Humboldt Crabs.
