The College of th Redwoods baseball and softball teams each dropped games over the weekend.
The baseball team hosted Feather River in a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday, dropping all three, while the softball team lost four straight on Saturday and Sunday after opening the weekend with a doubleheader sweep at Mendocino.
The baseball team lost 13-2, 8-0 and 17-3, and is now 1-5 in the Golden Valley Conference and 2-14 overall.
Feather River improved to 5-0 in conference.
No individual stats were available.
The softball team, meanwhile, beat Mendocino 5-4 in eight innings and 4-2 on Friday.
On Saturday they dropped two at Ohlone by scores of 10-0 and 22-0.
On Sunday the Corsairs fell 14-0 at San Mateo, and 13-10 to American River at San Mateo.
Ashley Stockwell took the loss in the pitcher’s circle in game one, as the CR bats managed just four hits.
Dakota Small had a double.
In game two, the Corsairs had 16 hits, including a three-run home run by Juliana Ortega-Miranda, who finished the game with four RBIs.
Pheobe Marsh had a huge game at the plate, finishing 5-for-5 with an RBI, while Bronwyn Gilfillan was 3-for-3.
Adriana Chavez and Amy Reyes each added two hits, with the latter driving in a pair of runs.
The Corsairs also had seven errors on the day.
With the losses, the Corsairs are now 4-8.
CR is scheduled to play at West Valley on Friday.
