With no wins in their last three games, the Cal Poly Humboldt women’s soccer team has dropped into a tie for fourth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association standings.
Since posting a program record six straight shutouts, including five straight to start conference play, the Jacks have now lost two of their last three games, while tying the other.
This past weekend, they traveled to Southern California for a pair of games, opening on Friday with a 2-2 tie against Cal Poly Pomona, the No. 3 team in the nation.
They followed that with a 1-0 loss at Cal State Los Angeles on Sunday.
With the two results, the Humboldt women are now 3-2-3 in conference and 5-5-5 overall.
The Jacks are now tied with Los Angeles for fourth in the CCAA standings with 12 points each.
Chico State leads the way with 18 points, followed by Pomona with 17 and Cal State San Bernardino with 16.
The Jacks have three conference games remaining, including a road game at UC Merced on Friday and a home game against Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday morning at 11:30.
