Del Norte senior Bria Larson closed out her high school career with a strong showing at the North Coast Section Division-2 championships at Baywood Golf & Country Club on Monday.
Just one week after she was crowned H-DNL champion, Larson shot a 105 to lead the local charge.
Larson was one of 10 H-DNL golfers to qualify for the postseason event, a group that represented four different local schools.
As league team champs, all five Del Norte golfers qualified, including Jaylee Keeling, who had the second best local score of the day with a round of 110.
McKinleyville’s Ingrid Monahan had the third best round of the local contingent with a 111, followed by Arcata’s Julie Omaha, who carded a 114.
Eureka’s Sophia Zwald rounded out the top five locals with a round of 117, one stroke better than impressive Del Norte freshman Taylor Horner.
Arcata’s Mira Rust-Kelley (131) and Del Norte’s Kalyssa Moodie (142) and Genevieve Gallardo (166) rounded out the HDN golfers who participated.
