The Hoopa Warriors swept a non-conference baseball doubleheader at Happy Camp on Saturday, guaranteeing a regular-season winning record for the program for the first time in 14 years.
The Warriors won 10-3 and 15-0, both in five innings, and improved to 12-7 with four regular-season games remaining.
Junior Allen Kane led the way at the plate in game two and finished 3-for-3 with two RBIs and his 11th double of the season, moving him back into a tie for the most by any player in the North Coast section this spring.
Lyle McKinnon also had two hits in the win, including a double, as the Warriors racked up 13 runs in the first two innings to quickly take control of the game.
Brian Richards and Kaydon Matilton each also had a double, while Brandon Romero and Owen Smith added a hit each to round out a nine-hit team performance.
McKinnon and Richards combined on the mound for a one-hitter.
The Warriors also started fast in game one and led 9-0 heading into the bottom of the second inning.
McKinnon led a five-hit team performance and was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, while Richards added a triple and Delmer Ferris had a double and an RBI.
Tristan Billings also drove in a run.
The win was the fourth straight for the Hoopa boys and their sixth in their last eight games.
The last time the Warriors had a winning record in the regular season was in 2011 when they were 14-10.
Next up, the Warriors will play at Ferndale in a Little 4 matchup on Tuesday afternoon.
