By Ray Hamill — Some of this week’s North Coast Section basketball playoff games will be broadcast live on local radio.
The Beat 95.1 FM will broadcast three games, starting on Tuesday night.
Longtime broadcaster Tag Wotherspoon will be at Kelseyville High School to call the action from the Fortuna girls game against the Knights.
Wotherspoon will also be on hand for a pair of games this weekend.
The local station will broadcast both St. Bernard’s playoff openers, including the Crusaders’ girls game against either San Domenico or Benicia on Friday.
The following night the SB boys will host either San Francisco Waldorf or Round Valley.
All of the games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with the pre-game show getting under way at 6:45 p.m.
The Del Norte boys’ playoff game against Justin-Siena on Tuesday night will also be broadcast live on KPOD 97.9 FM, as well as online through the DelNorteSports.com website, with tip off also set for 7 p.m.
John Pritchett will be on hand to call the action.
