But with four of the five SB starters in early foul trouble, head coach Matt Tomlin was forced to go deep to his bench players and they did not disappoint.
“It was the four players who came off the bench that kept (us) in the game and actually built a nine-point lead at halftime,” Tomlin said.
When the starters returned to the court in the second half, the Crusaders quickly ended the game as a contest.
“I was so proud of the ladies for overcoming the adversity of playing on the road in a tough environment and finding a way to persevere,” Tomlin added. “The entire team was connected and played as one family.”

Saturday’s game was marred by numerous stoppages for injuries, but the Loggers did not allow the stop-and-start nature of the day take them out of their game.
“It was a rough and tumble game today, with play being stopped for multiple injuries,” Napoleon said. “We did not complain or back down all night. No matter the obvious missed calls or phantom calls we kept our head down and moving forward.
“That was the most impressive thing about today’s win.”
