A big weekend of racing at Redwood Acres Raceway is set to get bigger. 

In addition to Saturday’s race night, which will feature the Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series, the Spears Modified Series and the Nor Cal Legend Series, raceway officials have announced that they will also host the popular annual Fan Fest on Friday night.

The night will include the usual hot lap sessions for each division, as well as Dash For Cash races, and fans will also be able to meet drivers afterward in the pits.

Tickets for the event are $5 while children five and under are free. 

Friday’s action begins at 5 p.m.

Pre-sale tickets for the Saturday night event are now available at Don’s Rent-All in Eureka, JC Auto in Fortuna, McKinleyville Barbershop in McKinleyville and RacinTheAcres.com. 

Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the pre-sale discounts. 

Gates for Saturday open at 4 p.m. with racing starting at 5.
