By Ray Hamill — The Humboldt Eagles American legion baseball club will hold tryouts for their two teams next week.

The tryouts will take place at Belotti Field across from the Redwoods Acres (formerly Bomber Field).

This summer, the longtime local club will field 19U and 17U teams.

The tryouts for both teams will take place on Monday and Tuesday, with registration at 5:30 p.m. and the tryouts getting under way at 6 p.m.

The Eagles will begin the summer season next month.
