Jackson Giacone led the way at the plate on Sunday as the Humboldt Crabs won their sixth straight game, beating the Bay Area Force 11-0.
Giacone, who is easing his way back this summer after a long injury layoff, finished 3-for-5 with a double.
Billy Ham added a home run.
The red-hot Crabs quickly took control of the game with nine unanswered runs over the first four innings.
Nolan Long got the win on the mound, allowing just three hits in five scoreless innings and striking out three.
The Crabs also dominated Saturday’s showdown with the Force and won 13-3.
They scored runs in each of the first five innings on the way to opening up a commanding 10-run lead.
Peyton Miller led the offense and finished 3-for-5, while four other Crabs players had two hits.
Cameron Saso got the win on the mound.
The former McKinleyville Panther gave up two earned runs on seven hits and two walks and struck out four.
On Friday night, the Crabs defeated the Nor Cal Warriors 3-1.
Trailing by a run for much of the game, the Crabs took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and held on late to secure the victory.
Kawana Soares led the offense with three hits.
The Crabs are now 17-5 and will continue their busy summer when they host the Solano Mudcats in a two-game series beginning on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
