The South Fork Cubs got the better of Willits for the second time in four days on Saturday on the way to winning the Potter Valley tournament in boys basketball.
The Cubs won 62-31 to cap four dominating days at the tournament, where they went 4-0 and won their games by an average of more than 28 points.
Tommy Rotbergs scored a game-high 31 points in the championship game and was named tourney MVP.
“Tommy was a flamethrower tonight,” head coach Taylor Morrow said of the junior standout, who finished with seven 3s.
Sophomore Wesley Way also played a key role, scoring 12 points and pulling down several rebounds.
Way, who also played some strong defense, was named to the all-tournament team.
The Cubs improved to 6-2 with the victory and appear to be building momentum ahead of league play.
“Our best game this season,” Morrow said of the performance. “We played so tough and as a team on both ends.
“We are in a great groove right now.”
The Cubs will host Mendocino on Tuesday night.
