By Ray Hamill — The Del Norte Warriors showed no signs of slowing down with another dominating win on Friday night.

Del Norte improved to 4-1 at the halfway point of the regular season season with a 48-3 win over the Panthers at McKinleyville High.

Their only loss so far has come against South Medford, one of the top-ranked teams in Oregon, and all four of their wins have come by at least 42 points.

They kept it going on Friday night, opening up a two-touchdown lead by the end of the opening quarter and scoring on all but one of their first-half possession to lead 34-0 at the interval.

Check out some of the first-half highlights above, including three touchdowns by Giancarlo Dessolenni, who is making an early case to be this year’s Big 4 MVP.

Receiver Ethan Thomas also scored three TDs, all of them on receptions from quarterback Cooper Maxwell.
