Calk Poly Humboldt Athletics

Cal Poly Humboldt will host the 40th annual Swing for the Jacks Golf Classic in October, the Jacks announced this week.

The tournament will be held at Baywood Golf and Country Club in Arcata on Saturday, Oct. 22, with registration opening in early August.

“Cal Poly Humboldt is thrilled to host the 40th annual Swing for the Jacks Golf Classic,” said Executive Director for Intercollegiate Athletics & Campus Recreation Cooper Jones. “This event has been a staple of the Humboldt County community, and coming out of the pandemic, our coaches and student-athletes are looking forward to reconnecting with Lumberjack friends and fans for this exciting event.”

A new addition to the 2022 event will be a VIP Cocktail Reception that will take place at Baywood Golf and Country Club the night before the tournament. 

More details on the VIP Cocktail Reception will be shared in the coming weeks. 

The cost of the tournament is $175 for an individual or $700 for a foursome.

Registration and check-in begin at 8:45 a.m., with a shotgun start set for 10 a.m.
