By Ray Hamill — The McKinleyville Panthers and Fortuna Huskies will extend the H-DNL baseball season by a couple of days in order to play a make-up game on Monday.
The two teams were scheduled to open a three-game series at Fortuna on Wednesday, but the game has been pushed back to Monday.
Both teams will still play a doubleheader at McKinleyville High on Saturday morning, with first pitch set for 11 a.m.
Monday’s game will take place at Newburg Park at 4 p.m., with the Fortuna seniors being honored beforehand.
The Huskies are 7-4, while the Panthers are 4-7.
