Redwood Acres season continues on Saturday

Ray Hamill/ – Fans recently returned to the Redwood Acres raceway for the first time since 2019.

A limited number of tickets are still available for Saturday’s racing action at the Redwood Acres Raceway.

Once again, tickets will not be sold at the track on the day, but can be purchased online at

Tickets are also available for cash only at Don’s Rentals and Automasters in Eureka; Autozone in Fortuna; and at the McKinleyville Barbershop.

The second night of racing action this season will be sponsored by Bear River Casino Resort and will feature four divisions, the Legends, Bombers, Mini Stocks and Roadrunners.

Pits open at 9 a.m., with practice beginning at 1 p.m. 

The grandstands open at 4 p.m. with racing starting at 5:30 p.m.

The season got under two weeks ago, with fans allowed in attendance for the first time since the end of the 2019 season.

The Legends division feature was dominated and won by Brandon White, while Raquel Krupa withstood race-long pressure to win the Bomber main. 

In the Mini Stocks, Eric O’Ferrall capitalized on a late race error by Sam Brown to win, while Jeremiah Martin claimed the victory in the Roadrunners.

Luke Hall was the main event winner in the Late Model division, which will not be in action this weekend.
