HSU to play three more road games in basketball

The Jacks will hit the road again next week, when they travel to play three games in men’s basketball in Oregon.

The Humboldt State men will play at Oregon Tech on April 18, at Warner Pacific on April 20, and at Southern Oregon on April 21.

Under the direction of new head coach Tae Norwood, the Lumberjacks went 3-3 in a six-game road trip from late February to early March.

The team averaged 83.2 points and 36.8 rebounds per game on that trip, while giving up 79.2 points and 33.8 rebounds per game. 

They shot 44.6 percent from the field including 36.5 percent from 3-point land. 

Newcomer AJ Sims led the team in scoring with 18 points a game.
