The Humboldt State shot 60 percent from the field in a 107-62 victory over Cal State San Bernardino in women’s basketball at Lumberjack Arena on Saturday night.
A pair of HSU players had double-doubles in the win. Alexia Thrower finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds, and Sandin Kidder had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win, the HSU women are now 9-9 in the CCAA and 13-10 overall.
In men’s action, HSU fell 94-72 to San Bernardino, also at Lumberjack Arena.
Christian Zachariah scored a team-high 18 points for HSU, which dropped to 4-14 in the CCAA and 8-15.
In softball, HSU slpit a Saturday doubleheader at Cal State San Marcos, winning the opener 8-4, before dropping the nightcap 6-2.
Lexee Sheiring picked up the win in relief in the opener, while Lauren Lipe was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs.
Micaela Harris had two of HSU’s four hits in the loss.
