The College of the Redwoods men’s basketball team took a major step towards a conference title on Saturday, winning 83-77 at Butte College.

The win lifts the Corsairs to 6-2 in the Golden Valley Conference with two games remaining, both at home.

They are now two wins clear of Butte, which dropped to 4-4.

Shasta (4-3) and Siskiyous (3-4) are also in action on Saturday.
