The Corsairs dropped two more games in baseball on Saturday, losing both ends of a doubleheader at Modesto to drop to 0-3 on the weekend road trip.
The College of the Redwoods men lost 11-7 and 7-0 and are now 6-3 on the young season.
Caleb Ruiz took the loss on the mound in the opener, his first of the season, tossing five innings.
Ruiz gave up four earned runs on seven hits and three walks, while striking out two.
Dylan Short went 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead the way at the plate for CR, which out-hit the home team 14-9.
Charles Morgan, Gannon Cyphers, Connor Parnell, Bly Moser and Brock Dewitt each had two hits including a double and two RBIs by Cyphers.
Moser took the loss on the mound in game two, giving up three earned runs on nine hits and three walks, while striking out four.
Morgan and Roman Garcia each had two hits, with Morgan also stealing a pair of bases.
CR is scheduled to host Los Medanos in a three-game series next weekend.
