By Ray Hamill — The weather has forced the postponement of Thursday’s College of the Redwoods men’s and women’s basketball games at Feather River.

Both games have been tentatively rescheduled for Friday.

The two Corsairs teams traveled to Susanville on Wednesday, but were unable to make the final leg of their journey to Quincy to play Feather River due to the snowy conditions.

Both teams plan on traveling on Friday, weather permitting, before then traveling back to Susanville to play Lassen on Saturday.

Both teams got their respective Golden Valley Conference campaigns off to a winning start with impressive wins over Butte last Saturday.

Both have also been red-hot recently and playing an exciting brand of basketball.

The men have won nine straight, while the women have won 11 of their last 12 games.
