The Ferndale Wildcats and South Fork Cubs combined to score 146 points on Friday night, as both schools cruised to comfortable wins.
The Cats traveled to McArthur to play Fall River and came away with a 52-0 win, improving to 3-0 on the season.
The shutout was their second straight and remarkably their 10th in their last 13 regular-season games, two of which have come against Fall River.
Through three games this season, Ferndale has outscored its opponents 110-7.
With the loss, the Bulldogs dropped to 1-3.

Next up, Ferndale will play at Eureka next weekend.
At Miranda, meanwhile, the Cubs bounced back from last week’s loss at Hayfork with a 94-12 win over Elite.
The Cubs ended the game as a contest in the opening quarter, scoring 38 points in the period and holding the visitors scoreless.
All five of the Cubs’ first-quarter touchdowns came after takeaways, as the home team quickly established its superiority on both sides of the ball.
With the win, South Fork improved to 2-1 on the season, while Elite dropped to 0-2.
Next up, the Cubs will travel to play Calistoga on Thursday night.
The local weekend action continues on Saturday with two more games on tap.
Hoopa plays at Archie Williams and Arcata travels to Petaluma to play St. Vincent de Paul.
Both of those games kick off at 2 p.m.
Eureka, McKinleyville, Del Norte and Fortuna all have byes this week.
