Ten H-DNL student-athletes have been honored with inclusion on the 2025/26 All-League Sportsmanship Team.

The second annual sportsmanship team, which is the brainchild of the HDN Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), was announced on Wednesday morning.

The all-sportsmanship team was chosen from a list of nominees provided by each member school after each of the fall, winter and spring seasons.

The winners were selected by the schools based on demonstrated principles of good sportsmanship, school and community service, and leadership.

According to SAAC guidelines, “The emphasis should be on recognizing individuals who embody the spirit of good sportsmanship and demonstrate leadership qualities, rather than solely focusing on athletic ability.”

All the winners receive an HDN sportsmanship gold star, an award certificate, and recognition at each school site. 

SAAC is made up of two student athletes from each of the H-DNL schools, one boy and one girl and usually a junior and a senior.
