The 47th running of the Foggy Bottom Milk Run, presented by the Six Rivers Running Club, will be held Sunday, March 8, in Ferndale.
The popular annual event will be split into three races, including a two-mile race, a four-mile race and a 10-mile race.
All events start and finish on Main St. in Ferndale.
Registration is currently under way for all three races.
Registrations received by Feb. 6 are guaranteed a t-shirt with entry, and pre-registration will be open online until March 5.
Entry fees are $15 for two-mile (age 14 and under); $25 for two-mile (age 15 and over); $35 for the four-mile; and $45 for the 10-mile.
The action gets under way with the four-mile race, which begins at noon, followed by the 10-mile at 12:05 p.m., and the two-mile race at 2 p.m.
The two-mile race includes a school and youth group competition, with five Cow Trophies awarded.
All two-mile finishers will receive a finisher’s ribbon, while the four- and 10-mile races will award first-place overall finishers, as well as first- through third-place finishers in age groups in five-year increments, male and female.
Chocolate milk will be waiting at the finish line, thanks to the sponsorship of Humboldt Creamery.
Late registration will be available at Portuguese Hall in Ferndale on the Saturday and Sunday of race weekend, with an increase of $10 for each race.
Other race sponsors include Coast Central Credit Union and Ramone’s Bakery and Cafe.
