The College of the Redwoods men’s wrestling team traveled to Rocklin over the weekend for the 2025 CCCAA NorCal Regional Dual championships and placed ninth overall in the team competition.

Redwoods was 2-1 in tournament action.

The local college team lost to Modesto by a score of 28-19, but bounced back with wins over Shasta (34-21) and San Joaquin Delta (33-18).

Landon Leon, Jacob Torres and Kaolin Callender led the way for Redwoods and each finished 2-0 in tournament action.

The CR men will continue their season on Thursday when they travel for a dual meet at Sacramento City College.
