After not being held in 2024, the Clam Beach Invitational will return to the North Coast later this month.

The community event, which is being hosted by McKinleyville High School, will take place on the beach at the Clam Beach County Park on Sept. 27.

Five different races will be held, including open girls (varsity and JV), varsity boys, JV boys, kindergarten to fifth grade boys and girls, and sixth to eighth grade boys and girls. The high school divisions will feature a three-mile course, while the younger divisions will feature a one-mile course.
