The second race night of the 2025 season will take place at the Redwood Acres Raceway this weekend.

A busy night of action on Saturday will be presented by DelReka Distributing, including the Craig Perrone Memorial race featuring the Upstate Modified Series.

The Upstate Bomber Series, Legends and mini stocks will also be in action.

Perrone was the founder and owner of DelReka Distributing from 1987 until his passing in 2021.

As a business owner and race fan, Perrone and DelReka have supported racing at Redwood Acres Raceway along with numerous drivers over the years.

The Upstate Modifieds and Upstate Bombers will both be making the first of three visits to the local raceway this season.

It will also be the second of six scheduled races for both series in 2025.

Charlie Collins took the Upstate Modified win at Ukiah Speedway on May 24 and currently leads Landyn Collins by 14 points in the standings

A purse of $1,200 will go to the winner of Saturday night’s feature, with $200 to start based on a 12-car field.

Anthony Fomasi, meanwhile, was the winner of the May 24 Upstate Bomber event, with Jimmy Sorrels placing second that night.

A gap of 13 points separate Fomasi and Sorrels in the season standings.

The winner’s purse for the main event on Saturday will be $1,000 with $75 to start based on a 12-car field.

Tickets for Saturday’s Craig Perrone Memorial race are available at Don’s Rent-All in Eureka, JC Auto in Fortuna and McKinleyville Barbershop in McKinleyville, as well as through RacinTheAcres.com.

Grandstands open at 3:30 p.m., with the racing getting under way at 5.
