By Ray Hamill — College of Redwoods will honor the 2024 Grizzly Bowl winning players with a ring ceremony later this week.

Redwoods defeated West Hills Coalinga 37-26 in December to clinch a second straight Grizzly Bowl victory.

On Thursday, the local community college will host a ceremony to honor the 2024 winners and present the players with their rings on the second floor of Student Services building.

The festivities get under way at 5:30 p.m. and the event is open to the local community.

It was the first time the local community college program posted back-to-back bowl games wins since 1976.
