The Cal Poly Humboldt men’s basketball team remains No. 10 in the West Region ranking this week despite losing to Stanislaus State on Saturday.

Last week, the Jacks moved into the top-10 rankings for the first time in more than three years and they carried a six-game winning streak into the weekend matchup.

The CPH men are 13-8 on the season.

Point Loma remains No. 1 in the rankings, followed by No. 2 Cal State Dominguez Hills, which the Jacks defeated during their recent winning streak.

The Humboldt men also have two wins over No. 8 Cal State San Bernardino.

The Jacks return to action on Thursday night at Cal State East Bay at 7:30 and will also play at San Francisco State on Saturday afternoon at 3.

The CPH men are tied with San Bernardino for third in the California Collegiate Athletic Association standings with identical 9-7 records.

East Bay (8-8) is fifth and San Francisco State (7-9) is one of four teams one spot further back.
