The Del Norte Warriors stretched their winning streak to three straight with a comfortable win over Brookings-Harbor in boys basketball in Crescent City on Tuesday night.
The Warriors won 66-16.
And, according to head coach Cris Rice, it was a good opportunity to give all of his players some playing time.
“Everybody played,” he said. “We worked on stuff. We did good. It was a team game and we had scoring all the way through.”
With the win, the Warriors improved to 7-2 on the season.
The always dangerous Michael Webster scored a game-high 15 points in the win as he continues his impressive start to the new season.
Teammate Justin Cushman added 13 points.
“We had very balanced scoring and rebounding,” Rice added.
The win will give the Warriors some momentum as they get set to open play at the Anderson tournament on Thursday.
And Rice likes the way his players are coming together with conference play now just three weeks away.

“What stuck out to me was the fact we played together,” the coach said of Tuesday’s performance. “We were very supportive of each other. We have to keep building that team bond.”
The Warriors open the three-day Anderson tournament against Central Valley at 6:30 p.m.
Central Valley is 2-7.
