The 2024 season at Redwood Acres Raceway resumes this weekend with races on back-to-back nights.
Friday night will feature all four classes of late models, Legends, bombers and mini stocks while Saturday’s event will see the Legends and bombers in action followed by the ever-popular boat races.
This weekend’s events are presented in honor of Craig Parrone, the late owner of DelReka Distributing who was a strong supporter of racing at Redwood Acres Raceway and numerous local drivers.
The season-opening event at RAR was held on June 8.
Luke Hall was victorious in the late model feature that night while Brandon White won the Legends main.
The local bomber racers went toe-to-toe with drivers in the Upstate Bomber Series with late model star Jeremy Doss taking the win.
Derek Duke was the winner of the mini stock main event.
Racing for both nights this coming weekend will start at 6 p.m.
Your ticket into the Redwood Acres Fair gives you access to the raceway’s grandstands.
Pre-sale tickets for the big event on Saturday July 27 featuring the Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series, the Spears Modified Series and the NorCal Legend Series are currently available on RacinTheAcres.com.
Fans are encouraged to get tickets as soon as possible for the big race next month.
