Saturday was a good day for Fortuna basketball, as the Huskies swept all six games on a busy day at Fortuna High.
The Fortuna varsity girls and boys both beat Kelseyville, with the girls winning 53-26 and the varsity boys winning 59-41.
The school’s two JV teams also swept Kelseyville, while the freshmen boys beat Hoopa and the freshmen girls beat St. Bernard’s.

Houseworth, who returned to the lineup last week, scored eight points and had six rebounds as his role begins to grow.
Senior Kallen Barrote also played a key role in the win and is “getting stronger as the season goes on,” according to head coach Norm Sotomayor.
Barrote had 10 rebounds to go with five points.
Senior Alfonso Medina led the way once again and finished with a team-high 18 points, nine assists and five rebounds as he continues to play at an MVP level.
Fellow senior Russell Pascascio added 11 points in limited action, two days after missing the Huskies game at Del Norte because of injury.
The win was the second straight for the Fortuna boys, who improved to 12-8.
The victory will will help when it comes to North Coast Section seeding.
The Huskies are currently ranked No. 5 in NCS Division 4, while Kelseyville is No. 13.
The Huskies, who got their first Big 5 win at Del Norte last Thursday, will return to conference play when they travel to Arcata on Thursday night.
