The Redwood Acres Raceway announced on Tuesday that Fan Appreciation Night has been rescheduled for Sept. 9.
One of the most popular race nights of the season had to be postponed earlier this month because Cal Fire was using the fairgrounds as a base to help combat the wildfires in the area.
However, raceway officials have now rescheduled the night for next month.
The late models, which were not originally scheduled to race that night, have been added to the schedule.
The night’s action will also include the Upstate Bomber Series, which will be visiting the local track for the second time in 2023.
The local Legends and mini stocks will also be racing that night.
This is the second straight year Redwood Acres officials have had to reschedule Fan Appreciation Night because of the wildfires.
All tickets that were purchased for the originally scheduled Fan Appreciation Night on August 26 will be honored for the Sept. 9 date.
General admission tickets for Fan Appreciation Night are $10 and can be purchased online at RacinTheAcres.com.
Tickets can also be purchased in-person at Automasters in Eureka, Don’s Rent-All in Eureka, McKinleyville Barbershop and JC Auto in Fortuna.
Tickets will also be available at the front gate on race day.
Grandstands open at 4 p.m. with racing starting at 5:30.
The event will also be streamed live on RacinTheAcres.tv and SpeedSport.tv
