Racing returns to the Redwood Acres Raceway on Friday night as part of the 2023 Redwood Acres Fair.
All five local divisions will be in action and fairgoers will be permitted free of charge.
And the race for the season championships are building steam.
David Miller currently leads the field in the late models division and holds a 12-point lead over Luke Hall in second, with Brandon Barnwell two points further back.
In the Legends division, Tyler Krupa holds a sender two-point lead over Landon Green, with Tyler Avelar in third, seven points further back.
Doug Way, meanwhile, holds a sizable advantage in the bomber division and leads the field by 25 points.
Kadence Toland is second in the season standings.
In the mini stocks, Gary Klinetobe has an 11-point lead over Jarrett Mayo, with Colton Kinsey in third, just two points further back.
The roadrunner division is the tightest of all, with Nick Ford and Dylan Ford tied for first.
Friday night’s action is sponsored by Leon’s Car Care Center.
Tickets for the night’s racing will be available at the gates, with the grandstand opening at 4 p.m. and the racing getting started at 6:30 p.m.
In addition, the races will be streamed live on RacinTheAcres.tv and SpeedSport.tv.
