Dodgefathers take first at annual safe and sober dodgeball tourney

The third annual Eureka High Safe and Sober Dodgeball Tournament took place at Eureka High on Friday night.

The event was a huge success with many EHS students joined by several community members and all proceeds going to the class of 2023 Safe and Sober.

The tournament was held on the high school tennis courts, with the Dodgefathers taking first place.

The winning team included Jed Cruz, Mitchell Yates, Cameron Olson, Mike Collenberg, Ben Kortus and Daniel Kortus.

According to tournament organizers, the championship game was “extremely close and competitive.”

The Eureka High School Black Student Union team took second place.
