The red-hot Hoopa Warriors stretched their winning streak to 15 straight with two more wins in softball on Saturday, while solidifying their playoff positioning at the same time.

Playing at Mendocino College, the Hoopa girls beat Fort Bragg 11-1 and Kelseyville 7-0 and improved to 15-2.

Just two days after the Warriors clinched at least a share of a fourth straight league title, Saturday’s non-league wins came against a pair of Division-4 teams and will help Hoopa’s playoff seeding down the road, especially the victory over Fort Bragg.

The Warriors are ranked No. 3 in Division 4, according to MaxPreps, while Fort Bragg is No. 5 and Kelseyville No. 11.

Senior pitcher Tatianna Colegrove dominated in the circle again and finished with 29 strikeouts on her way to a pair of wins, with teammate Diamond Bibancos pitching the final inning of game two and securing the shutout.

For good measure, Colegrove also had multiple hits in both games, finishing the day 5-for-8 with a triple and two doubles.

Bibancos also had a pair of hits in both games, including a double in game two, while her twin sister Jewely had three hits on the day.

Millenia McKindley also had a hit in each game, including a double in game two, while Nae-Rew Martin finished 1-for-2 with a triple against Kelseyville.

Bella Valentine, Rianna Bain, Maizey Maloney and Nalani Colegrove each also had a hit.
