By Ray Hamill — It’s going to be a busy weekend for Arcata High baseball program.
The Tigers will host their annual fundraising golf tournament at Baywood Golf and County Club on Sunday and have also added an alumni game for Saturday afternoon.
The alumni showdown will take place at Arcata’s recently opened new field, and head coach Troy Ghisetti is hoping to add some more former players for the game.
The second annual golf tournament, meanwhile, has sold out with 30 teams signed up for the fundraising event.
The tournament will also benefit the Arcata softball program.
The shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m., but the action could begin earlier if teams are ready to go.
The day’s festivities will also feature an after party, which will include an auction, raffle and live music from Ghost Train.
The Tigers will also have several former Arcata High coaches as VIP guests.
