They’ve been playing shorthanded all season, but they have continued to battle.

On Saturday afternoon, with just five players suited up, the South Fork girls got a much-needed win at Calistoga, winning 53-11.

Caidence Young scored a game-high 27 points in the victory, including 25 in the opening half as the Cubs quickly took control of the game.

Young, who has been a bright spot for the team all season long, had five 3-pointers in the win.

With the victory, the Cubs improved to 6-12 on the season.

Jalynn Worswick also had a good game and finished with 18 points, while Macy Yarbrough added seven points, all of them in the opening quarter.
