The Cal Poly Humboldt men suffered their first conference loss in basketball on Thursday night, falling 116-112 to Chico State in overtime at Lumberjack Arena.
Marlon Ruffin scored a game-high 37 points for the Lumberjacks, who rallied in the second half to force the extra period.
Teammate Malek Davis added 23 points and nine assists, while Ian Krishnan finished with 15 points.
Cal Poly trailed by 11 at the break, but outscored Chico 61-50 in the second half.
The loss snapped a two-game winning streak.
The Jacks dropped to 3-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association and 4-5 overall.
Chico State is now 3-1 and 4-5.
