District All-Star tournament down to the final four, two more games set for Tuesday

The District 8-10s Little League All-Star Tournament continues on Tuesday afternoon with two more games in Arcata, including an elimination game at 3 p.m.

Both Klamath Trinity and Eel River remained in contention with victories on Monday, as Southern Humboldt and Arcata were eliminated.

Klamath Trinity defeated Arcata and Eel River got the better of Southern Humboldt 10-0.

The McKinleyville and Redwood Empire All-Stars will also play on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. with a place in Thursday’s championship round up for grabs.

The Mack all-stars, who are the defending District 26 champs, opened tournament play on Sunday with a comprehensive 16-0 win over Klamath Trinity.

The Redwood Empire players also opened the double-elimination tournament with a victory on Sunday, getting the better of Eel River.

The week-long tournament kicked off on Saturday with Klamath Trinity defeating Southern Humboldt 18-7 and Eel River winning a close game against Arcata 13-11.

The tournament continues on Wednesday with the winner of the Klamath Trinity/Eel River game facing off against the loser of the Mack/RELL game at 6 p.m.
