By Ray Hamill — Kelsie Hall hit a bomb over the centerfield fence for Fortuna on Friday in a highly-entertaining back-and-forth NCS Division-4 playoff game at McKinleyville.
It was the Panthers, however, who rallied for a 6-5 victory in 10 innings.
Check out some of the game highlights above, including Hall’s big three-run blast in the top of the fifth, as well as a walk-off base hit by McKinleyville’s Allie Egbert.
With the win, the No. 1 seed Panthers advance to play either Cardinal Newman or Piedmont in next Wednesday’s semifinal, which will be played at Mack High.
