By Ray Hamill — The Corsairs are back in the playoffs for the second straight season, and they’ll get to host a game on Tuesday night.
Both College of the Redwoods basketball teams received a No. 14 seed for the NorCal tournament when the brackets were announced on Sunday, with the men playing No. 19 Diablo Valley College at home on Tuesday and the women traveling to play at No. 3 City College of San Francisco on Thursday night.
The men will tip off at 6 p.m. and tickets for the big showdown, which will be the final home game for a legendary sophomore class, will go on sale at 3 p.m. at the CR gymnasium.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., and ticket prices are $12 for general admission and $8 for students and seniors, with fans 10 and under free.
Regular season passes will not be honored for CCCAA playoff games.

The CR women, meanwhile, will tip off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and the game will be streamed live through YouTube here.
